Katie and I would like to thank everyone involved in making last night’s inaugural Trashbat party a huge success!
To all of our performers: Rescue Bird, Brer Brian, The Dead River Company and Gregory Shiff, as well as Roberto Bentivegna, Hanley Brazinsky and the rest involved in The Last Man In Brooklyn, thanks for coming out and making our first time so special. (You never forget your first.)
And to all you boozebags* who came out, cheers for sharing such a fun opening night with us. We’re hoping you found TRASHBAT as morish as we did so that you come back for more next month. We’ll be at Public Assembly the third Thursday of every month, with the next one on August 20.
We’re doing something a little different for this clubnight – We’re about to launch the TRASHBAT website that will feature more info on the artists, DJs, and films (plus more acts TBA!) of upcoming shows. Expect to find Bios, Photos, Q&As, Links, Videos, Streaming music, MP3 Downloads, Reviews, and News Updates of past and future TRASHBAT guests. There will also be ways to get involved by suggesting performers, djs, and artists of any medium, or to send us hate mail, or even to tell us about your hopes and dreams. We’re here for you. Feel free to send us any photos or videos from the nights, as we’d love to host them on the website as well.
